4S Ranch is located about 25 miles north of downtown San Diego and 13 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. To the east of 4S Ranch is the San Diego community of Rancho Bernardo. Children can attend some of the finest public schools in the state within the top-rated Poway Unified School District. Stone Ranch Elementary School and Monterey Ridge Elementary School are highly rated alongside Oak Valley Middle School. Del Norte High School is close by and is also highly ranked.
